See, Nobody Cares
Jayson Tatum might be the first player in NBA history to win an NBA championship, finals mvp, and olympic gold medal in one summer and his public perception worsens.
Despite achieving what the likes of Barkley, Carmelo, Harden, Cp3, Stockton, and more have never it somehow still wasn't enough for Tatum. Seemingly all of social media and sports media viewed Tatum's championship as tainted or a bad thing due to shooting struggles. Things only worsened for Tatum once the Olympics began and he was left out of the rotation receiving 0 minutes. Jason Kidd proclaimed Tatum wasn't even the best player on his own team.
His market tanked after winning a championship and things only got worse this off-season. Now through 10 games of the 24-25 season, Tatum is having a great season and is clearly the #1 option. He is currently 4th in MVP odds and the Celtics are the #2 seed in the east.
AAAAAAND no one really cares, people love to hate on Tatum when he is struggling but do not seem to bat an eye or care for him when he is balling out.
