Is Amen Thompson the next big thing?
Amen Thompson has been a revelation for the Rockets over the last month, ever since rag dolling Herro he has been on fire. Most notably, the media is glazing him unlike any other young player since Anthony Edwards was the next Kobe for that week in Spring of 2024. It is a nice change of pace to see the national media build a player up instead of tearing them down.

He is an exciting wing player with an incredible ability to defend all positions. His drive is outstanding, always hustling across the court to make an extra play. While his shooting is sub-par, and an a glaring flaw with his game. He can add that like Lonzo Ball and many other players have. He still is good for 15+ points per game slashing and finishing around the rim.
