Finals Win! Market Loss...
Jayson Tatum has accomplished something great talents of the past have not come close to doing, winning an NBA Championship. Not only did he win but he did so in a dominant fashion only losing a handful of games the entire playoffs. However despite achieving what so many haven't, Tatums playoff performance came with some questionable performances.
Tatum having the lowest field goal percentage in NBA history (min 15o attempts) did not help his card market.
In the last month but specifically the last 2 weeks since the finals his market has completely fallen off a cliff. Down 32% after winning a championship is an insane drop off especially for it meaning so much for his legacy. Is now the time to buy? Or is going to be a continued downward spiral because hes no longer viewed as a #1A on a championship team? The next month or 2 will be a good indicator of whats to come.
